Launch Cloud Connector From the Ribbon

If you are using Cloud connector, this article describes how to launch the program from the Ribbon.

Starting in Spreadsheet Server version 25.2, the Cloud Connector button has been moved under Settings.

  • To access Cloud Connector from the main ribbon, you must enable the corresponding checkbox in the Security settings, as shown in the following screenshot.

  • If a user has access to multiple Cloud Connector environments, all available environments will appear in a flyout menu.

If you are using a version of Spreadsheet Server prior to 25.2, you can launch Cloud Connector directly from the Spreadsheet Server Ribbon, by clicking the Cloud Connector button. Once clicked, Spreadsheet Server will navigate to Cloud Connector's web UI, where users can request a replication task.

For the Cloud Connector button to appear in the ribbon:

  1. The Cloud Connector connection must be set up in Application Configurator. If there are multiple Cloud Connector connections, the first available will be recognized.
  2. The option for Cloud Connector to be launched from the ribbon must be selected in Application Configurator.
